Conversation
If you’re recording your patient’s voice, you must get consent from them in order to use Eluve. Here are some sample consent scripts that cover the two points (an audio recording will happen in the background, that recording will be used to generate their note and improve the service)
- “We are testing out a new AI assistant for medical professionals that will listen to our conversation and help us generate better medical charts and allow me to focus on our session instead of taking notes. Are you ok with me recording our conversation for help in creating the medical chart and improving the software?”
- "Before we proceed, I need to inform you that as part of our service, this conversation will be recorded. This is to assist in generating your medical chart accurately and to enhance the product’s quality. Do you give your consent to have this conversation recorded and for the use of this recording in improving the software?"
- "I need your verbal consent to record our conversation for chart accuracy and software improvement. Do you agree?"
Feel free to use any of these or create your own that will work best for your patients.
Dictation
If you’re just dictating your own thoughts, you do not need to request patient consent.
